[Contiki-developers] Issue in running contiki on ubuntu

Hello every one,
         I am begginner and I am trying to run contiki on my ubuntu, i have extracted file of contiki 2.6 in my home folder but i am facing a error when i try to run. Kindly help me! here is the error


***@ubuntu:~$ cd contiki-master/tools/cooja/
***@ubuntu:~/contiki-master/tools/cooja$ ant run
Unable to locate tools.jar. Expected to find it in /usr/lib/jvm/java-6-openjdk-i386/lib/tools.jar

com.sun.tools.javac.Main is not on the classpath.
Perhaps JAVA_HOME does not point to the JDK.

hi,
i think the best way to start with contiki is to download the
instant-contiki image which come pre-configured snd run on ubuntu
you will find it in the contiki web site
http://www.contiki-os.org/download.html

Dear all,
I implemented a tansport relay node on a Z1 platform (node that (normally) receives a UDP data packet via tun interface with a PC and forwards the data through 802.15.4 interface to a WSN network). Well, as you can notice, it is not a border router, just a relay node in that it has an input UDP connection (input port X) coming from a client in a PC, and an output UDP connection (output port Y) towards a sensor (Z1) node.
The problem I have is that the relay node seems to forward the packet, that it receives from the client, via the tun interface instead of the 802.15.4 interface. Is it possible to fix this without using routing functionalitites (like those of rpl-border-router.c)?
